cv joint boots?

Anyone still make the glue together boots for the outer cv joints? The two larger parts stores in my city do not have them. We do not have an Auto Zone, so I do not know if they have em or not. I used these on my older Jetta and they worked great and don not see why not to use them now if I can find them. ANy help is appreciated.

If your boot has been torn for a while, it's probably not wise to just do the boot. I'd recommend a new axle (if you can afford it), as rebuilding the joints really isn't worth it.

If you're really interested in a seamed boot, Autozone sells them. The only one I've ever used (my brother was really insistant) bolted together. Sounds weird, but it worked quite well.

You could not pay me to use a new boot only... I'd change the axle.. if it's a question of money, I'd use some silicone sealent and seal the hole/tear in the old boot for a temp fix
