Hi,

My once old faithfull has been acting up lately. The CEL comes on indicating that the Engine coolant temp sensor is triggered (along with the KS of course). As the CEL comes on, the car also stalls. I can drop the tranny in neutral and restart easily with the CEL on. I can replace the coolant sensor, but as the sensor impedances are within spec, I suspect that there is another problem. The car runs fine with the CEL on and there is no indication of the coolant temperature being out of whack. Could the wire harness be the culprit, how do I check it?

Any suggestions or recommendations?

it's the cts i assure you had the EXACT same problem a while back
i got mine for i think round 70$, so just replace it and it'll go away
