my air temp. sensor isnt even plugged in

just realized today that my air temp sensor was just laying around somwhere in the engine bay still attached. the guy who put the ****ty intake on my car probably just left it like that. Do you think its broken? it must really hinder preformace because its not connected right?

i plan 2 put it in when i get my CAI

Yea youre losing about 5-7 hp without that plugged in.

oh and because it's unplugged - the knock sensor will probably retard timing - droping you're air fuel ratio to about a 9:1 - costing a total of the initial 5-7 fwhp, plus another 20 - 30fwhp... i suggest u fix that asap.

Yep, he's right......your knock sensor will start act funny, and possibly go bad, AND you lose that much HP.

hahahahah lmao. and i thought my max felt fast with my rusted out exhaust and without the air temp sensor. and my knock sensor is prolyl shot to. i will repair it all asap. my only question is do you think i need a new sensor from it just sitting there? where can i get one if so? thanks alot yo
