AGX vs. Illuminas

hey guys, i really want to get a new suspension set up for my max, i found a great deal on some AGX and H&R for a good price, but ive been hearing bad things about the AGX struts... is it worth paying more for the illuminas? im dont have very deep pockets, so im trying to spend the least amount of money.. also.. i want to keep the ride as smooth as possible, i know on ebay they sell the illuminas and spring set for around 5-600, but thats digging deep, into shallow pockets if you know what i mean. what are your opinions>?

as you can see from my sig, my car is pretty much stock other than a few minor mods, and i want something new, and mainly to get rid of that fugly gap.. bleh

agx's work fine, but they ride a little harsher than illuminas. main thing about shocks/ struts is if they blow out. i have about a 2 inch drop on mine adn they not yet blown. its been a year and half. its very rare to see an agx blow, i htink i have heard of one or 2. i have never seen a thread about illumminas busting. so is it worth the extra money, of course, you will get a better product. are most poeple who have agx's satisfied. yes they are.

Illuminas are $408 shipped at performancepeddler.com. I'm still trying to figure out to spen the $350 for the AGX or the $408 for illuminas. I've already bought the MaxSpeed springs for $108 shipped off ebay.

$514 shipped for Illuminas and Tokico springs. Very comfy ride and dead even ride height on my 5-spd. I bought my kit from this seller, about 1 yr. ago. It arrived quickly, packaged from Tokico and I'm still happy a year later.
EDIT: Plus $5 required ins. (didn't see that before, sorry)

If i was to buy new i'd get the Illuminas, but depending on how much the AGX/H&R combo is selling for i'd say you shouldn't be disappointed because the H&R's should ride pretty good regardless of the shocks, it's just that with the Illuminas it would ride better.
