Adjusting Cefiros

So, I was just turning the screw at the bottom and the stem at the top and seeing absolutely no difference in the aiming of the light whatsoever.

Do these things need a million turns to make a difference? And really my question is, what are each of them supposed to do? I would think the lower screw would be for focus or lateral movement and the stem would be for lower/higher adjustment ...

They should be just like the OEM ... from what i've seen on posts, non NISSAN ones have problems being adjusted. It seems like they come busted or something. My Nissan ones are fine. Hopefully someone here has come up with a solution for yours.

Be aware that the inner assembly INSIDE moves not the whole lamp.

your adjustment screw is possibly out of the headlight fitting. This happens if you loosen the screw too much, causing it to pull out from the headlight base. In this case your headlights will bob up and down (Side to side, for the top screw) freely when the screw is backed out.

Definitely aware that the inner assembly is supposed to move and not the whole lamp.

However, any Cefiro that's smoked is NOT OEM. At least that is what I have read in multiple posts. This may mean bad news for me. I can certainly figure out a way, but I'm not too psyched about taking the lights out just to adjust them by hand, test fit again and then check for the pattern. They're not off that bad, but bad enough that it bothers me.

Anyone have any definitive info about this?

The Cefiro inner assembly is SUPPOSE to move with the adjustments screws to aim the lights. It's hard to believe that most everyone with a non Nissan Cefiro backed out the "bolts" too far causing all the problems.

Assassinroon: The factory lights have the same 8mm (or 6mm) bolts that aim the headlamp that are in the back.
