muffler WAY too loud, any suggestions?

I just had a budget y and b pipe with resonator installed. I got a Edelbrock RPM series muffler on advice form a friend. NOT good advice. Loud as a ****, had to check to make sure they put a muffler on it. I want something just a little (and I mean a LITTLE)meaner than stock, this thing makes your ears want to bleed from 50-65 mph. Kinda worried to go with the flowmaster 30 series or even the 50. Was thinking about the 70 series but I am not sure about the fit.

When I got home I put the stock muffler back on, it might have a hole in it but at least I am not going deaf.....

Stock muffler on aftermarket Y+B is a nice sound IMHO.

Get a 2k/2k1 muffler if you also want a small increase in power. No replacement for the stock muffler to me ... they're all too loud and make minimal HP on an NA Max.

btw dont those newer stock ones have some kind of mechanical bypass in them? Like at a certain rpm they open up? If so is it stand alone or vacum activated?

Good luck fitting 350Z exhaust.

Dynomax unversal? They are cheaper than **** and probably quiet as stock.

With the y and b pipe... it's just gonna be loud - theres no magic muffler. I had a 5th gen muffler, but it looked like *** on a 4th gen, and sounded marginally better.
