You can get Nissan boots, as mentioned above or you can get KYB boots, part number SB108. If you lowering your car I recommend the KYB boots because they have a shorter bump stop which gives you more suspension travel on a lowered setup.

I have 2 questions. I dont quite understand the benifit of "which gives you more suspension travel on a lowered setup" what exactly does that mean?

Also what is the CHEAPEST place to get the kyb boots.

thanks

Lowering the car takes away shock travel. The OEM bump stops are about 3 inches long, the KYB bump stops are about 2 inches long.

3-2=1 You about an inch of shock travel back by using a slightly shorter bump stop.

Most lowering / sport springs come with instructions that tell you to trim the factory bump stops. The replacement KYB units are already slightly smaller then our factory units. They also last a little longer and are cheaper then Nissan replacements.

As far as the cheapest place to obtain these boots, you obviously have internet access, so use it wisely and search around for yourself. There are tons of dot-com places to purchase these boots. A pair should only cost you about 30 bucks. You might actually find them cheaper at a local auto parts store. (saves you shipping)

I guess i still dont understand. What is "You about an inch of shock travel back by using a slightly shorter bump stop" What is the benifit of it being an inch shorter? will it make that big of a difference over stock boots?

Im sorry once again, I know nothing about suspension.
