I have a 97 SE 5 speed. The cruise control button has worked fine until 2 days ago. Everything is fine when i push it to the right (off position). However, when i want to turn it on, i have to push really hard on it and the switch doesnt slide/move. I have to push real hard and wait till the light goes on so that i know its on. Anyone else have this problem or know what i can do about it?

 

when i changed it to leds, i had that problem when i tried putting it back together. you must have knocked a part of it loose so take it apart and fix it. isn't too difficult to do. goodluck
