What was your First Mod?

There is so much you can do to the maxima that i don't know where to start.
There are performence parts, bodykits, rims, and stereos and etc.. What is the best Mod to start? WHo prefer looks, and who prefer POWER!

just depends on what you have money for, if you have money to lower and thats what you most want to see done, jump on it. etc.

I started with Gen 1 Tezzies,Z32 fuel filter, CC, then encountered tranny problems and more.

Once I finally get that taken care of, I will lower, kit, then rims

I got a Automatice SE. So my first concern is looks cause I probley can't make it go much fast than what it is. Clear cornors, Black/clear head lights, HID 6000K, Clear/red tails, LED Mods thru out int. But to each is own.

I personally go with looks before go.

If I went with go fast mods first, I would likely leave it as a sleeper. Serious go (boost, built) really tends to add up faster.

My first was sound system. One of my boys gave me his old equipment (2 12" subs, 2 amps) because he sold his car and didn't need it anymore. I bought new speakers and a new deck and was off to the races.

I didn't get addicted, though, until I tinted it. Once the tint was on, I saw so much potential... that $225 for the metallic black tinting really cost me thousands of dollars!

Edit: I wish that Kappa Infinity 6.5" component speakers were only $230 back then! I'm happy with my Alpines, but Infinity's rock.

I did a couple free mods: body colored door pillars and a hacked air box. Then came the clear corners and it was off from there.

My first was red/clear tails and Diamond Cut Corners. If you want to consider Sylvania Silerstars then that was my first mod because it was extremely cheap. Then I tried to put in brighter foglamps similar to silverstars but they burned out within a week. I dont know why either which sucked.
