Suspension

Hey guys, i rode around in my friends bimmer and it sticks so well in turns. I assume coilovers would help me greatly in turns while still giving me a drop.

You can't compair the BMW independent suspension to the Maxima's suspension.
It's apples to oranges, two completely different cars.

But a set of H&R springs coupled with Tokico Illuminas will make your car stick to the road rather nicely.

yes, (that's what I have) but still NOWHERE NEAR as nicely as in a BMW, say M3 (E46). I don't care what you put in a Maxima, or how much money you put into suspension. It is impossible to make it handle like an E46. Simply impossible and you won't even come close.

My friend owns a 2003 e46. Aside from "kabooM", the frequent problem with recalled rod bearings in the engine, it's a superb car. I drove Maximas with coilovers and other suspensions, but comparing it to that of a stock E46's suspension in ANY way or form is simply a joke.

Body roll in an E46 is ..... wait a minute, what f**king body roll?

What are you trying to compare. Maxima is a family sedan with a little sportiness to it.
M3 is a two door perfomance machine which also costs three times as much.

Never drove in a bimmer, and i dont want to!
The reason is that i actually like my car's handling, and if ride in a bimmer, i know my thinking will change. I dont want that.

Lets compare a Max to a Bimmer. How about a Bimmer to a Porsche. Thats a better comparison.
