My Max will not start.

After taking the car to the store, I get in and it wont start. It started to crank and then slowly the "cranking" got slower and slower till it eventually stopped. I got a jump thinking it might be the battery, no dice. There is power to all acc and I think the biatch wants to start as I can hear clicking when I turn the key. Question, does this sound like a bad or "Frozen" starter. Like I said before there is power to everything but starter will not spin. Thanks in advance.

if its the starter a few bangs on it while somebody cranks it should free it up. if your 5 speed just push start it.

I don't understand. If the starter won't crank at all, how can can I get the thing to turn over. Like I said, the starter gradually started to slow until it eventually just stopped and would not crank. Please post all replies as I need any and all input. Thanks.

if it is in fact the starter it will crank after a few bangs its probably stuck. while banging and turning the key it will loosen up and turn over. when you turn the key i assume you get nothing or a click just keep turning the key while you bang.of course you will need battery power to do this also but was it trying to turn over before it went dead and check your oil to make sure you have that in the car to make sure its not seizing up.
