sagging rear end with maxspeeds

just curious if anyone else has had problems with their car sagging really bad in the rear with maxspeeds, its obviously from my system but is there anything i can do to fix this other then coil overs, my rear sits at least an inche lower then the front.

wow that looks pretty bad. to fix it, get different springs? i dunno. some people cut a coil or 2 on the front to even it out but i dont recommend doing that.

i dont recommend mix-matching springs. unpredictable handling and control. no good.

Yeah, that looks bad. I've had Maxspeeds for over a year and I have a pretty big box in the trunk, and my drop is even.

What do you expect for a $99 dollar spring.

Honestly, that car doesn't even look lowered at all. Are you sure you have the correct springs? Something doesn't seem right, unless you have 250 Lbs of audio equipment in your trunk....

Well just by judging from your cardomain 1st page I can see part of the reason...

-You are a 5spd so there is about 70lbs? less weight in the front than auto Maximas with Maxspeeds.
-2 Punch hx2 12's in a slot ported box...those have to weigh at least 100 or so lbs.

Was that pic the day of the install? Does it still sag that much?

*I have Eibachs and with or without subs my car never sagged. (5spd too)

and thanx for the gf compliments lol i guess...we've been goin out for 5 years she suports the maxima idea too, she was real happy to hear that i was keeping it and painting it red and finishing it up instead of buying a camaro, i personally rather have the camaro but thats a hole nother story...

anyway back to the matter at hand....i think im going to try taking some wieght out of the trunk, maybe posibly switching to tein springs, i just wanna stay away from coil overs, everyone else has nice even drops and mine looks like i have soccer team in the back of it...thanx for the input so far

Dont know if you've tried it already, but have you tried taking everthing out of the trunk and seeing if the car still hangs low like that? if so then you know its due to what you have in the rear and may need different springs, or if it still hangs low could be another issue all together (blown shock?)

Ok first I dont know about this company but some companies make their springs softer than others such as ones made for the front and ones for the back since the front has the engine weight they need stiffer springs than the back. Soo maybe you put the springs on the wrong struts (rear/front).

Also it's a good thing you live all the way over there, cuz if I saw your girl I'd break the next happy home
