PAINTED MY CALIPERS.... and now a problem
I just painted my calipers last night gloss black. I even painted the part of the rotor that makes contact to the rims. They look sweet but, i over sprayed onto the surface of the rotor. And for some reason the rear left rotor got it really bad. I tried driving around the block to burn off the paint but it just got worse. The other three look normal except for that one still.
Will it eventrually burn off after driving for a while?
I need advise please help!

Just did mine 2 weeks ago too. I bought caliper spray paint but used a small brush to apply it - much more accurate than spraying IMO. Brake cleaner took care of any extra too.
I also used gold colored anti-seize compound on the rotor areas that met the wheel. Looks better than the rust.

I actually had the same problem but I just drove around and it eventually came off. Good luck!
By the way, I have for sale FoliaTec Caliper paint $60. I can get them in red, blue, silver, gold, and black. This is a very good price so if you want one please email me at: stricklymaximas@hotmail.com

That high temp paint is NO match for the friction and the heat generated by you braking like that. Under normal driving, the front brakes are probably used probably 90% of the time, leaving the rears to do a little bit of assisting. All you need to do, is concentrate the braking to the rear tires...
Try it a few times... See what happens... Did this when I painted the calipers on my old car...
