quick question about gauge lights

quick question about gauge lights

simple question- if i change all my guage lights to lets say white, by changing all the bulbs will that also change the color of my turn signals and abs,cel,etc. lights?

No, the indicator lights have seperate, smaller bulbs. When you look at the instrument cluster from the back this will be apparent. Just 5 194 bulbs for the gauges.

aight well what size are the smaller bulbs and how many are there? is it just 5 194s to light up the guages themselves?

5, 194 bulbs for the gauges?!?!?!

Where can i get the (5 194 bulbs for the gauges) for my 96maxima 5spd?

the smaller bulbs for the indicator lights are bulb #74'. ebay has then and they are not sold in stores.nbow the things is that in the maxima they use color filters. Example: your turn signal is a clear bulb that goes through a green filter to turn green. So if you want them different colors you have to sand those down. The only thing that works is blue led bulbs goign through the green. That is what i did, and left th other to be.

well as far as the turn signals, i dont care about the green.. i hardly use them anyway.
so i guess im going to get 5 #194 bulbs this weekend. Do they come in all types of colors?
