My car is leaking something

Ok so I haven't really had time to check it out but it's definitlly not oil anitfreeze brake fluid. But whatever it is it smells like ****. It smells like raw sewage. I have never had a car leak this whatever it is. It is fairly light colored and only leaves spots about 2 inches in diamter. So I am not too worried now but any suggestions on what it is? Thanks

Zach

I was leaning toward some kind of gear fluid or something becuase I washed my hands with soap, and fast orange and my hand smells like it was in my ***.

Funny that you would know that to begin with.

I'm just trying to give everyone an idea of what it smells like. I mean if they are that curious they know what they can do....

I think you are the only one that curious. BTW. If it's not oil, antifreeze or brake fluid, that leaves gas, grease from somewhere or gear oil. Hard to tell as you don't really mention where it's leaking from and you aren't willing to jack up the car to see. Alot of fluids can smell bad if you leave them in way too long.

If you knew where it was leaking from underneath the car you could easily find the source In any case I've noticed in the past that used gear oil on a manual tranny can smell _very naughty_. I really felt nauseous when I was changing it. The smell was equisitely bad.

Well when I bought the car I changed all of the fluids. I am also at work so I can't just go out and take a look to see where it is coming from I just posted to see what everyone thought. Basically because of the sewage like smell I figured most people would think grease or gear oil basically along those lines. So when I get home that will be what I check for.

where is the leak comin from? Ive been havin a leak, and mine turns out to be gear/tranny oil. It has a mild brown tint and somewhat of a not so pleasant smell, but it doesnt get to me too much. Find out where its comin from or post a pic
