Muffler is rusted to shreds, along with almost everything else under the car. is that normal? What to do? Should I replace the muffler with a used oem?...or take off rust, wd40 and heatwrap? basically i'm broke as a joke, need to keep the cost down, but i wouldn't want anything to be of danger on my car.

 

Not sure if normal since your car is 99. Save up and put another exhaust there, or try to get stock used one for cheap.

 

you can get a very cheap muffler like a dynomax super turbo. its like 50 bucks shipped i have it and i like it. im sure it would sound nice on a stock exhaust.
