disabling injectors for compression test ?

I am about to perform a compression test and wanted to confirm something - I need to disconnect the injectors so they don't operate w/o fuel passing through them. If I'm reading my FSM correctly, there is a connector near the battery that I can disconnect that will keep the injectors from operating. Is anyone familiar with that or is there some other way? I know I can do the front 3 right at the injectors but the rear 3 are covered by the manifold. Thanks.

I pulled the Fuel pump fuse in the cabin so no fuel will be pumping up..that will take care of it

When I was doing the compression test in my auto class, I actually didn't do anything to fuel system. I guess disabling fuel system isn't neccessary.

I don't see why you'd need to disable anything on a fuel injected car.

Because as you crank the engine the Fuel is still pumping in...therefore giving a false reading and a very smelly garage

disconnect crank sensor. its located to the right of the left motor mount. your engine will not fire.

thanks to all. As some have stated, while cranking the engine, it is trying to deliver fuel and spark. You pull the fuel pump fuse and relieve fuel pressure so there's none in the chamber. Obviously the plugs are removed for the compression gauge. However, it is also recommended that you disable the injectors so they don't operate while fuel isn't running through them - it's bad for the seals and the fuel actually keeps the injectors cool.
