Wagner brake pads?

Anyone have any experience with Federal Mogul Wagner Thermoquiet brake pads?

http://www.federal-mogul.com/cda/con...6_7293,00.html

My '98 GXE 5 speed has original pads with 112K on them and I'm thinking of getting them replaced as I've heard pad material becomes too hard after 5 years. Tho, they're still braking fine, on the whole, and the discs aren't warped either...A mechanic near my place is recommending the Wagners. Any other recommendations on durable pad brands with decent braking & noise characteristics would also be appreciated. btw, is it better to go for Nissan OEM as they might be quieter due to better fit of shims, etc.?

they're good pads, i have them all around on my max. only time that they squeak on me is in the morning when there's dew on the rotors. can't beat there lifetime warranty (when they go out bring them back and get new ones for free through orielly's).

OEM is the way to go. I just slapped on some new OEMs on the other day, extremly quiet, no noise whatsoever.
