I was looking at getting the front strut bar for my 96 from custommaxima.com... i was wondering if anyone has this and what they think of it... also wondering if the install on it was easy? any information would be good thanks

 

install is easy.

a strut bar is just a metal bar that stiffens up the chassis, not much to say, car feels more stable.

 

I have an Otto racing FSTB, got it off of Ebay for about $15, works great, no problems with it, and it was easy to install, bolts right in.

 

i agree ! fstb are all going to do the same job so buy on looks and price that makes you happy. the cm one should do you fine !

 

yeah they all do the same function. it all comes down to how much youre willing to spend on it. you can always paint it to your liking. btw the install is fairly straight foward.

 

Buy one off eBay for a cheaper price. The night before you install it, put some penetrating oil over the nuts and bolts.
