Alright i finally got some cash....the best thing since i got my max...

96 max white coverted to All black...and bought @57000...currently @ 62000
drives good!

i so far cleaned the TB

1-ok i change oil (castrol gtx 5w 30 and my first change i added lucas)
how long is gtx suppose to last?
2-i was told by nissan and close friends don't do a flush on the tranny..so i put half and half...because the the black chips are need by the tranny!

3-i need spark plugs...where and wat kind should i get? i am looking at the ones that go u 60k
4-i most likley need to do a flush on the radiator ...what fluid should i buy (i know u have to put half and half)-i aslo realize that the fluid went down (not so much) is that normal?
5-pvc is that really impotant to change?
6-airfilter
7-what kind of fuel injector cleaner can i buy?
8-how to clean the ivac?

Am i missing anything?

Problems since i got the car

1-ever since i cleaned the TB in december i got the 0705 code i think it has to do something with the valve on ther the left side tire because i saw that the hose was not connected thourouly...after connecting it i got the code like 3 weeks later insead of 3 days later.....can anyone spare me a good place where i can buy a new valve? or used? or does any know where i can fix it in nyc except the stealership

2-i left the light on last week..then i got a boost...10 mins later it just shutsoff i have no problem starting it again..but the car would stuggle so stay on unless i press the gas...went to a gastation machanic and he said it could be bad gas---so he gives me a gas cleaner for 1.50 after that the car did not shut off......but the next day something told me to check the code and i got 0209 which is the rich righ bank injectors...then some say it is oxygen sensor and some say injectors are bad. what can it be? i don't think it is the injector (i hope not) because i did the procedure when you take out the Mas and plug it back in and wait 10mins and there was no code of 0209...so can bad gas cause the 0209 to go on?

3- can any one spare me a remote?

4- how can i add one of those shock things that trigger factory alarm?

Wow, that some low miles. Many answers to your questions can be found in the how to and FAQ stickies at the top of the page. They are there to help people who have common questions such as yourself, and me for that matter.

But as far as spark plugs go... NGK platinums.

Lucas additives... not recommended by many, go to fluid and lubricants forum. Owners manual will have oil viscosity and change intervals.

You really should do everything that the 60k service recommends.

But since I'm bored I'll give you some answers.

***USE GOOD FLUIDS AND DON'T USE ADDITIVES***

1. Use mobil 1 or amsoil 5w-30 (for this brands 4K-5K)

2. Do the tranny flush(redline, mobil)

3. NGK (pepboys, advanced auto parts, napa)

4. Flsuh the radiator( use 50/50 pre-mix, just put it in the radiator)

5. Yes (it is cheap and easy to install)

6. k&n or b&m

7. any

8. don't know

9. get a new fuel filter
