hey im straying from the 3rd gen forum for a moment here because im thinking of getting a 95 gle 5speed. With these 4g's is there a differece between the se models and gxe and gle's as far as suspension goes, does the se have stiffer springs and thicker sway bars than a gle does? i read all through the stickies and found the basic differenes between the models, but did not find that mentioned. Also on a side note, do they make aftermarket headlights that are dual bulb with halos or projectors, like the bmw ones my 3rd gen has?

 

First of all, unless it's a conversion then it's not a GLE. GLE's ony came in auto.

The SE did have stiffer springs. The shocks/struts are also a different part number.

 

SE's have poly sway bar bushings, wider tires, and autos have a liquid filled motor mount
they may have a slightly larger FSB.
