How 'bout this action, the paint is very close to the deep evergreen from Nissan, it's called "dark metallic green van paint" from Autozone. I'll post another pic of it on the car tomorrow...

Hey WRECKLESSmax, I think I may have already asked you this but here it goes again. Well first I would like to say that your max is very phat. I wanted to know what mods you have done to it and the name of the rims, size, and tire size? Also what drop do you have?

thanx bro

wreckless: Wow! I think I've got alot of work before I get my engine bay as hot as yours. Kudos and thanks!

zagato: I'll have another pic tonight, I'll take it from the side so you can see how close the match is with the fender.

I want to paint my valve cover too!!

How does it come off? Do you have to tape off the "NISSAN" on it and the black part? What type of paint do you have to use?

Thanks!

Cant give too much away hehe, I just want something a bit different from the ordinary "Stillen" everything that I have right now. Everything is almost set but it wont be on for the DDAY show this Sunday. Hopefully about a week or so after that show it will be ready.

Here it is on the car...

Nick, I just taped off hte center black part and then put another piece of tape over the Nissan letters and used and exacto knife to cut around the letters. Oh yeah, after 2 or 3 coats of paint I added 3 coats of high-temp clear coat.

white may be a little hard to keep clean (it is an engine) but that would look good)

Nice Paint

Did you just clean the cover or did you sand it too?

Hi guys, thanks for the props...

No sanding, I just washed it really well with dish soap & hot water...

DMbrazilian, I think white would look great, as long it's close to your exterior paint color. And yeah, it's a piece of plastic that attaches on top of the front 3 cylinders, but not really a part of the engine, just sort of decoration (you can take it off and drive it without anything going wrong).

How exactly does the valve cover come off? Does it just pop right off and pop right back on or are there screws or something?

Thanks,
-Nick
