I just purcahsed a cattman y-pipe and I need to order the gastkets, but www.cattman.com is not loading up and not working. Can I use OEM gaskets from a Nissan dealer with this y-pipe? If not, where can I get a set of gaskets.

Yes, I do believe that all of Cattman's Y's utilize the stock Nissan gaskets for the two exhaust manifolds. The Y's outlet should also use a stock gasket of some kind. They are not very expensive anyway. Hell even some place like Napa autoparts might have it also for cheaper.

What about the crush rings. In many installations that Maxima owners have done, they say something about crush rings. Are these needed? Or can Gaskets also replace these crush rings? Where can you get these crush rings? Thanks

Arggg.

2 crush rings(another name for gaskets). One for each exhaust manifold.

1 gasket(not crush ring) is needed for the Y pipe's outlet.

If you look at the Cattman Y, it's pretty obvious.

Crush rings are available at the Nissan dealer or "maybe" at your local parts store. I'm surprised they were not zipped-tied to the Y, when you received it.

Crush Rings

I know the Stillen Y for 95-96 came in two pieces, and with three crush rings and one gasket. They were just oem parts, with the Nissan part sticker on them. The crush rings go in-between the manifold and the Y, and the gasket goes in-between the Y and the CAT...
I'm sure you can get these fairly cheap at a nissan dealer...
Hope this helps...
