improving the climate control?
i had my climate control on today at 65, and it was about 85 outside, it was cold butmaybe it can be colder. does anybody know what i can do to get it colder or is there any main. i should do on the system. its a 95 gle with 78k

Make sure your condensor is clean (cooling fins).
Make sure your condensor fan is running properly.
FYI, I have never been too impressed with R-134a systems as of yet. R-12 kicks a$$. Live in San Antonio and gets in the 100s though.
maybe that's as cold as it gets
Like Dan said, R134a systems are not as cold as the old R12 systems (which blew ice crystals from the vents in my old VW). I think the AC in my Maxima is adequate, but no more than that.

AutoStart
Install an autostart kit in your max and let it clill while you are getting ready to leave.Same goes for the winter months.

I agree
The Honda/Acura auto climate controls are a lot FASTER at getting to the ideal temperature. That is pretty much what you are judging when you say "how cold" they are. Plus they have, in my opinion, more powerful fans!
But anyways, we cant really compare the modern climate control to the older generation ones, especially from the 3rd gen because they used Freon in their systems (much better, but not good for the enviro).
