KYB Shocks

I'm noticing that when I'm riding down the street the passenger-front side of the car squeaks alot everytime I hit a bump in the road.

Does this mean that my shock has gone bad?

I just purchased the KYB AGX and had them installed about 3 years ago. Is that how long they normally last?

Are you sure that the balljoint would cause it to squeak like that?

I tested the balljoint's manuverability and it appears fine.

i also have the kyb agx setup on my 96, the problem is your strut mounts, just as were mine. my mechanic told me that the higher compression rates of aftermarket struts causes the mounts to disintergrate, since these mounts were meant for stock setups and cant handle the beating they take from aftermarket suspensions. check under the hood where the strut pokes out on either side. if the struts dont seem centered or move when u push ur car up and down then you need new strut mounts. get them from kyb since they are made specifically for their products. ur handling will greatly improve. also get some energy suspension polyurethane bushings. these hard bushings will replace ur stock ones which are rubber and wear out. this will decrease steering wheel play and provide sharper turn response.
