stock struts ?
stock struts ?
how long do stock struts typically last on stock springs
i have a 95 gxe with 131k miles
they are starting to feel pretty bad and i cant really tell if they are blown or close to blown since i dont know much about suspensions
i would love to drop it on a nice set of coilovers or even a good spring strut combo but dont have the money really for that right now so just curious as to be when im gonna be forced to drop it cuz theres no way im putting oem struts in there lol
thanks,
danny

I would say if you know that these are the stock struts then it is time to change them. Struts wear out gradually and its hard to tell. But when you put on new set you will notice the difference. I don't know many cars that can go over 131k on the same struts!!

the ride is getting much harsher feels like im driving my truck again i feel every little bump in the road and its not the same as it was when i got it
im fairly sure they are stock the car was my moms for at least 7 years before i got it and she said shes pretty sure she never had them replaced
well at least i can get rid of the 4x4 look i just gotta get the money together
The shocks won't get rid of your 4X4 look, you change that with the springs. If you keep the same springs, the gap won't change. Get your money together and set up your max the way you want it. Until then, stay away from potholes!
