is under drive PULLYS bad for the car??

some friends said that under drive pully is bad for the car like UR or stillen etc.. is that true?? bc i am looking forword to buy one if its not bad, and what kind would u guys recommend, i have heard good things about UR, and do u feel the power gaine?

One of those pulleys are good if you don't value high power stereo because the alternator does not put out as much amperage with the lighter pulleys.
