CATTMAN ypipe?

HOLE in FLEX PIPE... HELP

i installed the cattman y pipe before i lostr my license almost a year ago now and have been slowly modding my car while it sits in the garage i noticed that the y pipe already has a frayed section in the flex section. i believe that there is a leak already in the pipe what can i do about this?? i dont want to have to buy another y pipe.... any suggestions

well alot of people wrap the flex section in exhaust pipe insulation wrap - feels like a cloth fabric w/ fiberglass to get rid of the bees in a can noise but you could use it to cover the fraying. as for any other damages - theres a bandage type wrap you can get at autozone that sticks over the damaged area and melts and molds into place as it cures from being heated up.

The frayed section isn't what holds the exhaust gasses in though, there is a section of accordion-like flex pipe inside that braided section. Anyways you can just buy a new flex section and have it fixed for probably $30 at any place that can weld. Or try talking to cattman himself about it.

Warpspeed does the flex section fix. Look at their website or call them.
