4th gear rpm question
is 2500 rpm at 70-80mph normal?

depends on alot of things are you stick or auto, in my 5 speed im closer to 3k rpms at 75ish

if it is auto its normal. On 1st gear my maxi runs 50 mph, 2nd 87, 3rd around 130, and I,ve never checked 4th one

i am auto, i remmeber i used to get 75 at around 2000rpm

remembering and actually knowing for sure are two different things. i dont think 75 at 2k is right on an auto or stick.

Being as I just came off the freeway, I was getting ~2,700 at ~83MPH, and that's on an auto.

Well, 40 mph in 5th is 2k rpm. So that sounds about right.
