hey, got squeeky brakes after about 2 or 3k on new pads. they are some generic pads that didn't squeek the first 1-2k. any suggestions?

I had the same problem with those generic pads.. I even put the anti sqeel stuff, which worked for a week, then the squeel came back. Went out and got Pads from the dealer, and has been quiet since...

Try changing the clips that hold the pads in place. Also the cheap pads will do that. What type are they?

did you cut the rotors when you did the brakes? and did you buy cheapo crap pads the brakes are always worth spending money on because if you go cheap it will cause you nothing but a bigger head ache in the end
