When i turn my car in i hear a weird noise almost like a noise you hear when basketball players sketch there shoes on the groun but a little bit deeper tone. It might be a possibilty that it is my antenna but im not sure. my antenna is kinda stuck under half way, so it could be that but would an alternator make that noise? Its only when I turn the car on and off...I always leave the radio on so maybe I should turn it off first.

 

I bet it's your antenna. It goes up when you turn your car on and goes down when you turn your car off. Yes, try turning the radio off before you shut the motor off. Then, see what happends.

 

how do i get the antenna out? I wanna take it out, make it go all the way down, put it BACK on my car, then disconnect/disable it.
