emissions question?

i have the technosquare ecu. i was wondering if this is smog legal. im sure it is because it is just a modified stock ecu, but since the timing is advanced, im wondering if it'll pass a smog check.

Sure its legal , emisions check for amout of smoke and co2 your car is emiting ecu has nothing to do with that so i dont think it should be a big is a problem
