i got my budget last summer with no fitment issues. i had a custom 2.5" cat back before i put it on, and the y pipe did create a lot deeper tone. it sounded really bad ***, but it became too much and i had a resonator put on my b pipe. id go with the budget. if joosdawg had his computer up, he'd tell you theres no difference. he had the cattman before the new LSS/Budget y-pipe, and there's no bees in the can from his. there was no bees in the can from my budget either

I went to Budget's shop (about 40 mins from my house) 2 weeks ago and met the guys. They installed the B pipe and Y pipe for me and I have had no problems since. Nice looking piece of polished stainless steel, and it sounds great too.

My cattman is the best y-pipe I have ever had on my maxima!

Now thats a true statement

I just emptied my cat out ( Random tech) cause it was falling apart inside. Oh it sounds so nice, I can actually here the exhaust coming through the ypipe. It is quiter than before and responds much better.

I just have the stock catback and am not in to noise! I've thought about the Budget B-pipe but they only add about 5hp and are the same cost or more that the Y-pipe.

If I was into performance in a big way I would probably just put the money towards a JWT ECU.
