Shift ****

Ok so after removing my shift boot, and trying to twist the hell out of the shift **** (twisted left), the damn thing still wont budge. It seems like the top of it is twisting and the bottom just doesnt want to move. Is it a pop off like the VW's or am i just not doing something right? Any help would be appreciative...

It's a reg. twist on/off. I would maybe get some weight on it and push down from top and twist. Or find someone a little stronger, my friend couldn't get his off or the oil filter for that matter..I got them off with a little more kung foo grip.

if you wrap a shop towel around it first, you can get away with some vice grips - makes it pretty easy. If you are replacing it, then just go to town on it!

Yeah use vice grips, or hacksaw it off below, get an aftermarket **** and presto change O you now have a STS with a nice ****!

Or at least that what I did!

Love that Momo Phantom!

Even bought a cheap back up **** for the day I sell the car.
