I swapped out my intake manifold connected everything back together and car ran fine. Well the other day I started my car and it ran for about 10 minutes before going to work. Well I turned the heater on so when I got back in the car it would be nice and warm. Well I come back and it’s blowing freezing cold air in. So I check everything and it should be blowing hot air. Well I start driving and finally warm/hot air is coming in. So I think nothing of it. Well today on my way to work I have the heater running and it’s all nice. But I was stopped at a stop light for a little while and I slowly feel the air getting colder. So I turn it off but then I start going again, turn it back on and it works. So for some reason when the car isn’t moving the heater will not work. I haven’t been able to do any trouble shooting yet to see if anything is not connected like hoses and what not and I probably won’t be able to until Friday which kind of sucks. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? Or perhaps a specific area to look at as a starting point?

 

clogged coolant lines? checked your coolant level? water pump going out? thermostat sticking?

I've never heard of that myself, though those are the only logical things I can think of.
