i have the apexi WS exhaust and i think its just too quiet for me. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how to make it louder, besides buying a whole new exhaust system. Thanks.

I did feel performance gains from the apex. The exhaust really is quiet. It sounds basically at stock. I can only hear it at around 2.5 rpm and that sounds just a little louder then stock, but not by far.

The sound from the Apexi IS noticable. If you drive around town with the windows down....it's a low growl. Definitely louder than stock. If you want LOUD go with the GReddy, it is a good bit louder.

Well, besides getting a new exhaust, are there any ways I can make it louder?

Shouldn't that be a good thing? If you want it louder, just get a y-pipe, it'll be louder for sure. If you get a Greddy exhaust and later get a y-pipe, it might be too loud.

Has anyone dynoed the damn Apexi WS exhaust yet. I wonder how much gains you EXACTLY get. I've heard that you lose a bit low end w/ just the exhaust and no CAI

I too have the apexi WS and i thought it was too quiet. So if u want to make it louder, remove the cat, and the resonator. I know it is illegal, but that is what i did and it sounds great now, i can't wait to install my cattman y-pipe, it will sound even sweeter. Right now with out the the cat and resonator it sounds like an m3 it really sounds good. I wouldn't get another muffler because the WS muffler is great with the y-pipe, sound is good not extremely loud like those civics. Thats my opinion so give it a shot.

when you say you removed the resonator.. are you talking about the entire section between the b pipe and the cat? or just the cat?

Also I have the Apexi WS as my only mod and I got a 14.8 I'm still not sure of the performance advantage, but it sure does look sweet and sound nice
