5th gen alternator
Will a 5th gen alternator work in a 4th gen? If so is it a direct bolt on replacement? I already tried to search and really couldn't find the answer since alternator pulled up like 20 threads from today alone... This is for my 96 GXE 5spd, not my turboed 5th gen. Thx for the help.

P.S. today was a bad day.. blew my tranny (3rd gear) and alternator in the same day.
