Today after paying $900 CDN for a 100,000km service, Nissan gave me a free can of "Frigi-Fresh"

they used it to clean the AC system and remove the bacteria and odours.

It seems to have worked quite well.

No, he said 100Km, I think that's like 60-70K miles.

So you are averaging $17,800 miles a year...I do 20K a year, but (assuming Matrix had !00K miles on his car - now knowing I read it wrong) he would have averaged 25K miles a year...which is a little higher than the average.

Oh and where can I get this Frig-Fresh and how much is it? Also, how do you apply it? It smells like feet when I turn my A/C on.

Oh..well, I know what the 60k service says in the manual. $600 US seems pretty expensive. I would just get a service manual and read up on how to do the 60k service yourself. You will still have to be out a few $ but not $900.

Well, its a major service

1) 48 month - 960000 km service
- Air Filter
- Spark Plugs (6)
- Antifreeze
- Brake Fluid
- Additive Kit
- Fuel Filter

2) Oil and Filter Change

3) Injection Flush

4) Power Steering Flush -

5) Air Conditioning Insepection and Service

6) Brakes
- Front brake pads
- Rotor refinishing

The $900 included the front brake pads, so your typical service would be around $771 including Taxes.
