Does lowering the car 1-1/2 inches decrease gas mileage?

hey guys...im thinking of lowering the car with some springs...nothing crazy, would just be lowered by about 1-1/2 inches...ive heard rumors of decrease in gas mileage...anybody know about this?..or is it false?...thanks

what in gods name aer you thinking? why does suspention have anything to do with engine performance/gas consumption?

Yeah I agree, but hey I guess you know now. Lowering your car Doesnt take the gas milage down.
