DO nissan Caliper pistons twist in instead of just come straight out?

i believe you can just push it in. i know on the newer cars, you would have to twist it while you push in and it is a pain to do w/o the special tool. i took my caliper off one day while changing the studs on my front wheel and the brake squeezed up. to open them back up, i used a c-clamp to compress it back in. (dont forget to open up the brake fluid container under the hood too so the pressure can escape that way.)

oop.. he beated me to it.

I was wondering, what is the special tool needed cause using a c-clamp and pliers was a pain.

There is a tool looks like a small box that has alot of different faces on it that you can use to turn the rear pistons back in.
The front there is another tool that pushes against the metal backing that acts as a seat for the brakes and compresses the piston (similar to a c-clamp but made for the brakes). If you got a NAPA or other auto shop you can actually rent the tools, but if you buy them its only like 5 or 6 dollars. Saves a whole lot of time and beats the pliers method.
