What about The E-Brake, how do you remove the handle?

So guess removing the shift **** basically destroys it.

Rats. So much for replacing the boot and reusing the ****.

I read long ago that the stock **** is loc-tited on the shifter. I tried a strap wrench on it recently and it didn't budge with probably 60ft-lb worth of grunting.
