I got my "stuff" yesterday and can't wait till weather gets better put them in.

I am a little upset cuz Budget didnt send me the bolts for the front and rear 02 bents but... (can i reuse the old ones? or get similars at Home Depot or Lowes??? ).

Are those rings attached to the y-pipe to go into the 2 O2 sensor bents? if they do ...are they the only thing that goes there? no more gasket or anything???

Take a closer look at the close up on the ring, there is a different since from the top has like a flat surface then the rounded ring under it...what does that flat surface face??

Thanks a lot on the input.

Resize the pics (or just put a link to them instead)
You can reuse your old bolts or buy new ones. Those "crush rings"
are the only things that go on the O2 bends (when you tighten up
the y-pipe under the engine, the rings will crush and seal the
exhaust - don't worry about the flat part)
I think the hanger that connects to the b-pipe broke off from the
rust (you might have to weld it back on or something)
He's probably talking about the golden bracket thing that goes
between the y-pipe and cat (the one you bought seperately
)

I was looking at the FSM picture and the i dont see any hanger for the b-pipe (only Cali specs) unless I am intepreting the picture wrong.
The golden one I already got it...but i dunno if once all new things are put (including the golden part)...the b-pipe will still hit that bent arm in the pic above. hmmm

You can probably find them at a hardware store or they're $1.xx at the stealership
I know somewhere on the b-pipe it's connected to a hanger, here's my guess (had mine welded on about a year ago since it was banging around - I think this was the spot):

I had the same issue with my B Pipe, the hanger broke on the stock exhaust, so every time I would hit a bump, it would bang on the that cross member. Do you know what the part number is for that exhaust hanger that you have a picture of? I replaced my entire exhaust, with the exception of that one part. Mine was so corroded, all that was left was two pieces of rusted metal dangling from the hanger. Those small rings that are attached to your Y pipe are crush gaskets. If you look at your Y pipe, those two sections that are vertical have a cutout that will perfectly fit those gaskets. Place them in there and install your new Y pipe. I actually have some extra nuts and bolts from my install, so if you want them let me know and I can send them to you for a couple of bucks.
No, that is a completely seperate part. As far as I know, you have to order that from the dealership. That is what i need the part number for though.

Zeus97MAX where do I paypal you for the extra bolts? hope they will fit in my 95... i dont want to go crazy going back and forth to home depot or lowes.
now i have to wait till i get home to FAST the whole exhaust to get to the hanger from the b-pipe cuz the diagram above is from the FSM. DAMN IT PPL can't let me install nothing in here. GRrrrr...

Actually, I am just re reading your post...Are you talking about the six bolts that attach the Y pipe to your headers? If so, I misunderstood which bolts you were describing. I re used the bolts that were holding the old Y pipe on.

Yeah am talking about those. They sent me the ones for the CAT to b-pipe and CAT to y-pipe but no y-pipe to head. Can i get similars in Lowes?Originally Posted by Zeus97MAX

Blue circle is the part that should be connected to the b-pipe (have
yours welded on) since your rubber hanger (green circle) should be fine:

Red circles below are the same as the blue circle in the diagram above:

Get under the car to see if that piece is able to connect to the b-pipe and if it is then have a local exhaust shop weld it back on

You' da man... !! i just talk to the dealer and yeap.. its part of the b-pipe so i guess as a temp thing till i get a greeddy catback I am going for the local shop solution asumming the rubber band and else its ok, it should be a weld-on issue.Originally Posted by JaTaN

Yea if you arent going to replace thecat back yet, just have a shop weld a new hanger on there to hold you over. As far as the nuts that hold the y pipe to the headers, you will probably be better off just going to the dealership and ordering them since they have an exact part number for those bolts. It will save you a dozen trips to Lowes. I had no problems re using the old ones, so that is always an option.

Those numbers just tell you how much torque to apply to the bolts
