4 th Gen Amp Ground Wire

Where did you ground your amp ground wire to in your trunk???? I was told I needed to reground the amp.
I'm getting noise out of my subs. And when I turn the frequency up on the Amp you can really here it.

i grounded mine on the bolt that holds the jack in place. the first bolt (i think 10mm) that you see when you open up that cover.

i drilled a hole thru the trunk and put a bolt thru the hole. it was on the right side of the trunk. if u pull back the carpet and look at the right side of the trunk there are two bolts already goin thru the trunk. i put the bolt thru right next to them and attached the ground wire to that.

I've been told by an installer that the bolts on the strut mount are bad for grounds.

Just drill a hole on the trunk floor anywhere, sand it, clean it, and use a nut/bolt combo and use that for a ground.
