dont you still have to insert the key, turn, and then push a button? too much effort for me.

I hear there's a card of some sort that you just keep in your wallet or whatever that has a sensor in it. When you're close to the car it automatically unlocks and vice versa. When you're inside the car, the car knows that it's you and the button works to start it up. Otherwise the car is disengaged.

The push button start part is easy, its another thing to figure out how to unlock the ignition without the key. You would somehow have to keep it unlocked and like Fekz said it would be easier for a theif. Plus you live in the Boogie Down, I wouldn't try it.

The new Corvettes and FX's bring it. Its not a card, its a key fob you keep on you. When you walk towards the car, it automatically unlocks itself. When you go in, you can turn the car on without ever inserting the key either. You just turn the ignition.

....then you loose your card and make a car thief's life way easier in finding your car and stealing it.

you got it all wrong. Its made by Ignited, and it is an illuminate start button for COSMETIC use. You still need a key. When you insert the key, you turn it over for 2 clicks and then press the button. It basically removes the need for turning it until the car starts. if any of you have a remote start, you still need to put the key in into the secondary position right? same thing, except you press the button last to start the car. we sell them all the time at the car store i work at, easy to install but a useless mod.
