1997 with Eibach Pro Kit - Alignment Spec Changes?

I have the Eibach Pro Kit on the '97 SE and I'm taking it in for a front end alignment.

Does dropping it with the Pro Kit change the stock alignment specs? The guy doing the alignment wanted me to check so that he would avoid making a mistake.

Anybody know the specs or can you point me to the informtation if the alignment target specs change?

Thanks!

It is?

I checked the modification FAQ all the way through and couldn't find it. I can't search or I would have. I'll keep looking or maybe somebody can post a link.

Thanks!

Looks like those are the stock alignment specs.

My question at this point is if I've dropped the car with the Eibach Pro Kit (1.5" front, 1.3" rear), does that change the specs?

I dont quite understand "change it" If you mean do you need to get an alignment?

I tell you what, I did a 1.5" front 1.3" rear drop just like you did last saturday, when i went to get an alignment today and it was still perfect. It all depends on how everything was put in and how careful they are. It's always good to have it checked and align it if it's off. Once dropped you want to have it aligned to the stock alignment spec.

you don't need to alter the stock alignment settings when you lower the car.... unless you are looking for a more agressive performance alignment.... just have the tech set the car back to stock .... you will gain neg camber.... and the toe will have changed after lowering the car..... no problem resetting toe..... camber should still be in spec with the Eibach setup.....

Thanks for the info guys!

I just wanted to thank you guys for helping me out on this. Yes, what I was asking was if the target numbers for alignment changes when you drop the car. My '97 has been dropped for a few years now and I noticed some uneven wear on my front passenger-side tire (inside worn out).

This indicates to me an alignment problem. That particular wheel rammed a pothole hard enough to bend the wheel and the wheel had to be replaced.

I'm taking it in tomorrow for alignment because I just replaced my Nitto's with Goodyear F1 GS D3's and I don't want to screw the tires up with bad alignment.

By the way, the Goodyear's rock!
