Stupid Question

Feel free to flame me as long as you answer first

Do any of you know how to check the code panel for a limited slip differential?

I need an axle and I forgot how to figure it out.

Thanks

I have a limited-slip differential in my 95SE. The 9th letter/number in my VIN is an "X". It is preceded by a "D" and followed by an "S".

Also if you give the VIN number to an Infiniti dealer they should be able to check on their computer system. That's how I determined mine is LSD (Canadian car).

I checked the plate and there's no "Axle" on the plate.

My transmission is a RE4F04A FN36. Any ideas?
