CV Joint boot kind of suck in..

I took my car for an oil change this weekend and I did a couple of inspection on my car. I notice the CV joint boot kind of suck in a bit. Should I open the joint to let the boot back to the normal shape?

Driver side:

Passanger side:

What caused the boot to shrink? I might want to regrease and replace the boot. I kind of notice a whinning noise when I turn left and right. I only hear it at low turn. hmm

Any comments?

The boot becomes dry and the heat/cold changes causes the boot to dimple like that.

Just pull it out if you can. You don't need to. As long as it's not ripped you're ok.

hmm, I was thinking of cutting the binding wire to let the boot go back to the original shape, than zip tie it. The boot is aging slowly If it's not an immediate problem than i'll leave it alone.

It is probably like that while on the lift and the suspension is all the way down. Look at it when it is on the wheels and I think you will see it is fine. Notice in the picture the top is pushed in and the bottom is pulled out,
