need help and advice on used stillen kit!!

ok so i bought a used painted lip for a 100 from my boy. now somehow he has a 99 rear lip on his 95 bumper. he told me that he will sell me the rear bumper with the rearlip for 150. is this a good deal? the only thing i have worries about is sanding down the paint and getting it painted over again, cuz it might cost more. now i could go and get a new rear bumper for 75 dollars.

so what to do? buy rear95 bumper w/99rear stillen lip for 150 or buy a brand non oem bumper for 70? btw his bumper is oem and in great condition. i dont know how he got the 99 rear lip to fit on his 95 bumper but it does.

Keep looking around for the correct Stillen kit for your car.
Too much trouble converting and painting everything, buy the time your done you'll have spent almost as much as a new kit costs.

oem bumpers are 200 bucks a piece, the ones youre getting for 75 are aftermarket, and youll probably have fitment issues. no one can make the decision on the parts but you though because theyre styling issues. me personally i would take everything from him for 320, if theyre in good condition, but youll end up paying 500-1000 to paint it all

so i spoke to him and the deals off, i mean i talked to my boy who was going to paint it and he said the cheapest he could go is 500 to take the paint off the bumpers and the kit then prep it and then paint it back.

so the 75dollar bumpers wont look as good or what?

they usually dont fit as well as the oem ones, sometimes they dont let the paint stick as well either. if you need bumpers on a budget, theyre the way to go, but if you have the money, buy new oem ones
