original SE shocks + H&R springs + Sway Bar RIDE?
Hey guys, another suspension question
I'm thinking of upgrading the suspension but the Koni's are so expensive that I'm thinking of doing it in parts
so do you think it would be worth putting original SE shocks + H&R springs + Sway Bar in the car
now the car is a 95 SE and has only 74k miles on it, do you think the ride improvement would be worth it?
or do you think I should just get the sway bar and wait till i have $ to get the Koni + H&R at the same time
thanks in advance for answering

You described the exact set-up for my car...even though I just got my RSB (after waiting for shipping from Shox.com for a whole month) and installed it Saturday last. I REALLY like the combination...I have not felt a great difference in the RSB yet. I did take a cruise thru the mountain pass near Morongo Valley, CA the next day but it was slow going as I did not want to push it too hard up hill with traffic. I will probably swap struts at years end if I keep the car past then. I like the ride and responsiveness. Now if I could just get rid of the rattle in the trunk...dang thing is getting on my last nerve.
Bad Idea...
The stock shocks are going to fail quickly if you do this.
Then you'll just be riding on springs and with no rebound it will be worse than an entirely stock set up. Plus you'll waste money. Do it all at once. The RSB will vastly improve the stock set up ride, but wait to do shocks and springs at the same time. You'll notice a much bigger improvement doing it all at once too.
