Its time for new wiper blades

Winter has ruined my blades and the ends are starting to flap in the wind.
I posted two Manufactures but they both make more than 1 blade. Let me know which one you would most likely go with and why.

Walmart Triple Edge. $4.88 for a refill. Buy 5 for the cost of one pair of PIAAs.

A blade is a blade. I don't think it's worth over-spending on a pair. I just got new refills myself from Checker Auto and they are just fine.

I'd highly recommend the OEM wiper blades from Nissan.

Go Triple edge from Wal*Mart. You'll notice the wiper usage will be less.Just test it to become a believer.Buy one Triple Edge and one of another that you think you would buy.Put the triple Edge on the driver side and bring someone with you on a rainy day. That person will see the results with you.

well i bought the PIAA ones about a yr ago and i think the diff b/t them and the stock ones is like night and day... every seems to say a blade is a blade, but im more than satisfied w/ my PIAA ones... its so smooth its like ur wipers r not even on and it gets rid of the water like a squeegie... thats my vote

Nope, the RainX windshield washer fluid only keeps the blade from squeeking for the first couple of days. The product advertise to repell water from the glass. It doesn't improve the quality of the blade. Been there, done that. A new replacement blade is the best bet in wiping water off the windshield.

be careful when you go to buy blades. there was one size for the driver's side, but then a thin and a wide for the passenger side. I asked the guy at the store if i could take both out to my car to see whidh one worked, and i think it was the thin one, but not sure.

I suggested PIAA, as they are great blades, but they're expensive (for blades) and not always readily availiable. If you want a great blade that's availiable at every WalMart, Advance Auto Parts, and AutoZone, go with RainX brand, they're a little more than the ARCO blades that Wallyworld sells and they work great, I've had mine on for 3 months now and we've had an a**ton of rain, they clear the windshield, don't streak, don't squeek or make other annoying noises, I love em, best ones I've bought, short of the PIAAs

EDIT: we have a lot of rain here, I tried those triple edge and they were okay, but after about 2 months of use they started to squeal.

Tried RainX blades and they do not cause the rain to bead like Triple Edge. That's the downfall. If you want to see without wiping all the time,Triple Edge.

Bosch sets suck! They last about 3 weeks fine then they streak. I've had a few people use them and they all said they suck. Maybe they work better on German cars but not Nissan.

Dont let the price tag fool you. they just plain suck.

I've used Michellin blades too, they are pretty good but not too much better than the $5 blade.

I just get Plyon's for $5 ea. They last about 6 months and they work just fine.

Piaa Sporza is a good choice.
